"My work is a mixture of 50's comic style, vintage trademarks, hot rod, punk rock, skate and horror elements.
Growing up in the 1970’s I was surrounded by DC and Marvel Comics, Hanna Barbera, Hot Wheels and monsters. Influenced by artists such as Robert Williams, Jim Phillips, Jim Flora and others, my gratest inspiration today comes from the subculture, particularly the car and motorcycle clubs, garages and the racing festival I’m organizing.
I have studied pgraphic design, specialized in illustration and silk screen printing. Since 1993 I’m creating custom designs for rock bands, clothing brands and for the hot rod and motorcycle culture.
In 2009 I opened the Harry Damson Speed Shop in Berlin together with my buddy Frank Damson. It was the wish-fulfillment to create a hotspot for fans of car and motorcycle culture of the 30ies to the 70ies. We dig the value and longevity of honest handmade products that often arise through coops with friends from all over the world."
